Jakob Bengel’s company originally made watch chains and moved into Art Deco jewellery production in the late 1920’s. Maurwerk (brick or wall work) offers a heightened machine or industrial futuristic aesthetic popular in art deco. Highly sought after, the factory ceased jewellery production due to the start of the 2nd World War.
Minor damage to enamel as you can see from the photos - hence the price. I’ve seen these elsewhere for over £400.
Measures - 16” plus 1.75” for drop.
All jewellery has been professionally cleaned.
