All items are sold as seen. We endeavour to provide items that are in excellent condition but secondhand and old jewellery may be tarnished or marked in a way that new pieces would not be.
These age-related wear and marks are part of the charm.
Any information, whether verbal or in writing of any kind (including on our website), is for guidance only and is given in good faith but without warranty.
In any event We do not accept any liability whatsoever for the performance or non-performance of any goods beyond the value of those goods (for example, we shall not be liable in respect of wasted time or additional costs incurred by any person such as labour costs nor shall we be liable in respect of any alleged consequential losses of any person).
We can not be held responsible for any damage to pieces whilst in transit.
Ownership of the goods remains with the seller until the buyer has paid all monies due.
All items are described as accurately as possible. Unless an item is hallmarked or dated, it is not possible to give an exact date the item was made. Items are therefore given approximate dates to the best of our knowledge.
Whilst every effort is made to accurately display the colour of our goods in the photos, We cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the goods on delivery.
Returns – United Kingdom customers have certain cancellation rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Carousel Vintage Jewellery offers the below return policy;
a. Under distance selling regulations, You have the right to return Your item for a refund. We must be notified within 14 days of receipt of the item. You then have another 14 days to return Your item. You are responsible for the return postage cost. It is Your responsibility to make sure the item is not damaged in the return process. For this reason, We recommend that if You are using a courier or postal service to return, You use a signed and tracked service.
b. We will issue the refund within 14 days of receiving the goods. Please note that We can only refund the price of the item, not the original delivery cost. Items must be returned in their original condition as they were sent out. Under distance selling regulations, You have an obligation to take care of the products whilst in your possession. Where you have failed to take care of them, We reserve the right to refund you less any amount to either repair the product or cover any loss.
c. All antique, vintage and second-hand items may have age related wear.
We include lots of photographs of our products as well as a detailed description.
We try to be as accurate as possible so as not to disappoint our buyers.
If an item is faulty or does not match the description, We will cover the return costs and also refund you the original postage charge. Please contact us to arrange the return.
d. To return an item, please contact us via the contact from . Please entitle any message with Carousel Jewellery. We will then provide you with the return address.
e. Cancellation - If You wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, We will issue you a full refund. If the order has been dispatched, You will need to wait for it to arrive then return to us un-opened for a refund as detailed above.
Damaged/Lost Goods – Where goods are delivered to or received by the customer damaged or there is a shortfall, then We must be notified within 14 days of receiving the goods. No such claim will be accepted outside of this time limit. Any return, refund or re-delivery is subject to the provision by you of proof of damage or shortfall as We may reasonably require. We accept no liability for lost parcels beyond the value of the goods.
Delivery - Any quoted delivery times are estimates only. Carousel Vintage Jewllery offers the below delivery policy;
a. All prices stated exclude postage and packaging. Any quoted delivery times are estimates only.
b. Delivery of Small Items - Smaller items under 10Kg can be posted subject to size and weight. These items will be sent via Royal Mail, Parcelforce . We aim to dispatch the items as soon as possible. Dispatch times may vary due to availability. We cannot be held responsible for any delay incurred once the parcel has left our premises. We accept no liability for lost parcels beyond the value of the goods.
